Janae Johnson: Assistant Director, University Information. Chair, OCM Spirit and Well-Being Committee. 2x Mason alumna, MA Interdisciplinary Studies/Higher Education and BS Psychology. She is a lover of all things purple, creative junkie, major foodie, semi-athletic, believes music is life, and a Delta Diva. A woman of many hats (advisor, instructor, BAC board member, volunteer), she is actively involved in the Mason community. Janae is an inclusion and well-being/wellness advocate and will always champion these initiatives.
Evan Michio: Senior Photographer, Creative Services. MA, Arts Management/Marketing ’10 from Mason and undergraduate art major from James Madison University. Married, loves doggies, yoga and hiking. As a 20 year cancer survivor I mentor Fight CRC ambassadors advocating for early prevention and awareness, best Mason class with Linda Monson learning piano, curiously w(a/o)ndering. Serves on the Human Resources Employee of the Month Committee.
Rachel Kranz: Event Coordinator for University Events. Married with two grumpy old dogs. I am a marathoner and a 2x Ironman. I am an active member of my triathlon team and am a mentor for the brand I am sponsored by. I love spending time, with my husband. friends and dogs.
Charles Nicholson: Senior Brand Manager – Office of Communications and Marketing. Mason Alum. Lifelong learner in leadership, marketing, and well-being. Conceptual and process oriented thinker with an endless repository of ideas. Experienced mentor who loves sharing and gaining new and different perspectives about common human experiences.
Jacelyn Tyson: Director of Administration and Budget. I’m Ram Proud and a proud Patriot. I love traveling as much as I enjoy staying in, sunsets at the beach, family gatherings, birthday planning, playing games, and warm cups of bulletproof coffee. Elephants are my spirit animal, and pink is my color. My newfound passions are gardening, spinning, and low carb cooking/baking. I’m committed to living my best life and nurturing the things that make me “me”. I’m a strong supporter of establishing a healthy work-life balance, fostering employee engagement, and exploring ways to make OCM a department where every member of our team feels valued and supported.

BS in Computer Science, minor electronics from the American University. Her three kids are the love of her life, she loves cooking, crafts, writing, and piano. She finds herself in charity activities especially those that benefit children and women.
